Simulon Reality-Aware Rendering: place a character, act, and get a regenerated video
Simulon's Reality-Aware Rendering on iPhone lets you place a neural 3D character, film yourself acting, then regenerates a new video where the character reacts. It is not live AR.
Official demo ยท Simulon
Simulon launched Reality-Aware Rendering on iPhone on October 28 (Android later). The clips on this page are Simulon's official demo.
How it works
- 1. Place: drop a neural 3D character into the real world with your phone.
- 2. Act: film yourself acting out the scene, talking to or handing things to the character.
- 3. Regenerate: when you stop recording, Simulon renders the take again and produces a new video in which the character reacts to what you did and said.
That last step matters: this is not live AR. The reactions come from a regenerated video after you finish filming.
Price
Free download with starter credits. Plus costs $14.99 a month and Pro $39.99 a month on the App Store; Reality-Aware Rendering arrived in v2.1.0.
