Suno MCP is in beta, with early-access sign-up. Suno released it on October 28. It connects Suno's music generator to AI assistants that support MCP (Model Context Protocol), so you can describe a song in chat, refine the lyrics and style with the assistant, and have Suno make it. Every song uses your Suno credits and lands in your Suno library.
Where it works
Suno lists Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini and Cursor. Suno says it is available on all Suno plans.
How to set it up
- 1. Sign up for early access on Suno's release-notes page.
- 2. Add the server
https://api.suno.com/mcpas a custom connector or MCP server in your assistant. - 3. Sign in to Suno when asked. No API key needed.
The ChatGPT catch
On ChatGPT, adding a custom MCP connector is officially a Business / Enterprise / Edu workspace feature (OpenAI's help center lists only read/fetch support for Pro). Check your ChatGPT settings before you count on it.
What would you have Suno sing for you?
